There are hundreds of worthy charities to worldwide. We join them in our efforts by taking underutilized asset, then consider selling it to Mercy Foundation and receiving unique social and financial benefits.
How We Help the World
The Mercy Foundation has helped break the cycle of poverty in over fifty countries on six continents, by offering microloans from charitable donations given by donors . The global financial crises has affected not just impoverished communities, but also more developed countries, seeing the loss of homes and plummeting property value. Through our network partners, we have helped owners of underutilized assets sell fast, receive cash and receive a cash benefit from the remaining equity in their asset by donating to Mercy.
And unlike many charitable contributions that are used and never seen again, a contribution is able to be used over and over again because we see a payback rate of almost 99% of our microloans. This means a contribution has an exponential impact for years to come in the lives of many different people, families, communities and countries, including the U.S.
The funds are disbursed in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the U.S aiming at increasing income of the poor through productive activities. These socially responsible investment programs are designed not only to support entrepreneurship and education to alleviate poverty, but also to empower women and the empowerment of the poor in general.
There are literally thousands of stories of people who have been lifted out of poverty permanently, thanks to the availability of safe, quality financial assistance. These financial assistance breaks the cycle of poverty. We use distressed, unwanted or financially burdensome assets through Mercy Foundation.
Our company’s practice and mission comes straight from the Bible. “Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Luke 6:38)
